Sharing Your Badge
Once you receive your CogniPilot credential, you can share it in several ways.
What You Receive
When issued a credential, you'll receive:

Quick Method (Recommended)
- Open your
.htmlshare page - Click the "Add to LinkedIn" button
- LinkedIn will open with the certification pre-filled
- Review and save to your profile
Manual Method
- Go to your LinkedIn profile
- Click Add profile section → Licenses & certifications
- Fill in:
- Name: CogniPilot Community Participant
- Issuing organization: CogniPilot
- Issue date: (from your credential)
- Credential ID: (UUID from your credential)
- Credential URL: Link to your hosted credential or share page
Share the Badge Image
The .svg badge file contains the full credential embedded inside. You can:
- Email it - Attach the SVG to any email
- Post on social media - Upload as an image
- Add to your website - Embed the SVG directly
- Include in documents - Works in most document editors
Anyone with OpenBadges-aware software can extract and verify the credential from the SVG.
QR Code
The QR code links to the credential verification page. Use it for:
- Business cards - Print the QR code
- Presentations - Include in slides
- Physical certificates - Combine with printed certificate
Digital Wallets
MIT Learner Credential Wallet
The most compatible wallet for OpenBadges 3.0:
- Download from App Store or Google Play
- Open the app and tap Import
- Select your
.jsoncredential file - The badge will appear in your wallet
Other Wallets
Since CogniPilot credentials use W3C Verifiable Credentials format, they may work with:
- Dock Wallet
- Trinsic Wallet
- Indicio Holdr+
Google Wallet & Apple Wallet
These wallets don't currently support OpenBadges 3.0 directly. Google has announced plans to support education credentials "in the coming years."
Verification
Anyone can verify your credential:
- Online: Visit credentials.cognipilot.org/verification
- With tools: Use our Python verification script
- Automatically: OpenBadges-aware software extracts and verifies from the SVG
Hosting Your Credential
For permanent sharing, you can host your credential:
On GitHub Pages
- Create a repository for your credentials
- Upload your
.html,.svg, and.jsonfiles - Enable GitHub Pages
- Share the URL
On Your Website
